Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg running back Joel Bauman set a Prep Bowl record with 44 carries on Friday to carry his team to the Minnesota Class 1A state football championship. KMS beat Royalton 33-22 for the school's first state football title. Click here for game story.

Houston Wins Battle of Unbeatens to Capture Minnesota 9-Man Title

The High School Football Huddle
Houston captured the schools first Minnesota high school football championship beating Clinton-Graceville-Beardsley Friday in the 9-man championship game at Minnesota's Prep Bowl XXVII. Both teams entered the game 13-0. CGB made a game of it in the fourth quarter coming back from a 14-0 deficit to take a 16-14 lead with five minutes to go in the game.
